ACT/Technico is a customer oriented, market driven firm specializing in hardware and software integration services, products and system development for the embedded computing industry. We support legacy through state of the art bus and network centric systems and products in VMEbus, Compact PCI, and mezzanine form factors.

ACT/Technico is located in a modern 24,000 square foot facility located in Warminster, Pennsylvania, approximately 25 miles north of Philadelphia.

Started in 1978, ACT/Technico is the combination of Technico, a sales division, which represents and distributes products from leading industry manufacturers, and Advanced Control Technology, Inc. a design services, integration and manufacturing firm.

Our business approach is to provide innovative solutions through a synergistic combination of best in class partner products, our own line of storage products and over 100 man-years of system integration experience.  As a value added reseller, ACT/Technico also provides ruggedized solutions to meet the most demanding environmental requirements. Certified to ISO 9001, the company supplies integrated embedded systems to companies in defense/aerospace, semiconductor equipment, transportation, communications, medical imaging and homeland security.

Embedded equipment suppliers require highly skilled sales and support personnel to bring their products to market. Thus many manufacturers of technology seek to develop relationships with organizations like ACT/Technico to add value and integrate their products in order to target specific areas of the market and better serve end users.

ACT/Technico maintains a direct sales staff and a professional team of sales representatives committed to the value added sale. Our sales staff and application engineers are able to match requirements to function and recommend semi or full custom solutions when appropriate. Our staff of experienced electrical, software, mechanical and system engineers combine to provide state of the art solutions designed to meet our customers' specifications. We support those products long after shipment with warranty coverage and complete documentation packages.

In house manufacturing capability rounds out our ability to integrate the products and designs into a finished solution for volume shipment. Our Quality department maintains our corporate commitment to ship products that are soundly built, with quality workmanship.
