ACT/Technico has designed hundreds of systems based on open architecture standards
such as VMEbus, CompactPCI, and PCI. Systems integrators, defense agencies, and

we have assembled to help accelerate development.

This 2U high CPCI based NAS / RAID 5 development box provides a ready to go RAID storage platform. It has been designed to meet rugged vibration, shock, and temperature MIL requirements.
- 2U high CompactPCI chassis with 4 slot CPCI 2.16 backplane
- RAID 5 system:
- Two 6U RAIDStor blades, with a total of four removable drives (solid state flash or rotating)
- One DVD drive and a fifth fixed disk drive
- Rear I/O transition modules for maximum system configurability
- Configured for VxWorks or Linux with driver support
- Hot swap compliant power supply, expandable up to two modules for redundancy
- Front to rear air flow
- Designed to meet MIL-S-901D requirements
- Has been Barge tested and passed

The system contains everything needed to establish a complete
Embedded Network Attached RAID solution with dual star topology in a
PICMG 2.16 or VITA 31.1 enclosure; two RAIDStor™ storage blades, two
fabric switches, a 2.16 or VITA 31.1 Intel or PowerPC single board
computer plus rear transition modules (RTMs) if needed.
To further ensure maximum effectiveness, the system includes a remote
support package allowing users to leverage ACT/Technico's unparalleled
experience and know how in the embedded computing industry.
