Tower Development PlatformIn conjunction with our ACT/Technico brand of embedded computing products, Elma Electronic
has designed hundreds of systems based on open architecture standards such as VMEbus,
CompactPCI, and PCI. Systems integrators, defense agencies, and major corporations
rely on our extensive experience to deliver embedded sub-systems designed for their
project requirements. The sub-systems listed below are starter kits designed to
enable an accelerated development cycle.

Part of our SystemPak integrated systems line, the TVME7100 development system provides a solid platform for migrating your current applications to the very latest in PowerPC technology and for development of new applications.
This versatile VME64x development platform features the MVME7100 single board computer with a MPC8641 based dual core processor from Emerson Network Power.
System components include:
- Portable tower with 5-slot VME64x backplane and one 500W power supply
- Emerson Network Power MVME7100 Single Board Computer (MPC8641 multicore processor) with VxWorks OS
- 640GB of PMC storage (inquire about higher capacities)
- Twelve port Layer 2 / 3 Gigabit Ethernet switch
- Option for additional IO via PMCs/XMCS: A/D, SCSI, Ethernet NIC, etc.
- VxWorks OS and driver support for the system
- Fully tested prior to shipment

The system contains everything needed to establish a complete Embedded Network Attached RAID solution with dual star topology in a VITA 31.1 enclosure; two RAIDStor™ storage blades, two Ethernet fabric switches, a VITA 31.1 Intel or PowerPC single board computer plus any required rear transition modules (RTMs).
The system includes a remote
support package.
