The 9289 XMCStor is a mezzanine storage solution designed for high speed data access and system boot operations.
- Dual CFast™ drives, one front removable and one internal for maximum operational flexibility.
- Data transfer rates up to 130MB/sec write and 140MB/sec read.
- The board contains a dual port 3 Gb/sec SATA II controller with a 2.5 Gb/sec PCIe Gen 1 interface that can provide high data transfer rates.
- Built to withstand harsh environments requiring high shock, vibration and extended temperature tolerance.

- Designed to support one or two rugged CompactFlash drives (CFI or CFII) allowing for enhanced environmental performance in your application. MTTR is significantly reduced by using sockets that allow easy removal while clamps hold the drives in place during normal operation
- ATA/ATAPI mass storage solution implemented using the industry standard PMC form factor (IEEE P1386.1)
- An alternative to Narrow SCSI based mass storage, where SCSI capacities exceed the needs of most embedded applications
- Replaces external hard drives or Disk Modules that require external fixtures or system slots
- SiI0680 chipset supports Ultra ATA / 133 MB per second transfer rates (UDMA 6)

- Each complete unit undergoes functional testing before, during, and after a 10-cycle environmental stress screen (ESS) to confirm reliable operation of the complete solution
