Point-to-point links can be created without any external hardware: simple crossover cables create a direct high bandwidth serial connection. In addition, connections support full duplex operation, providing an aggregate 45Mbyte per second data highway.

Device drivers are available for many common operating systems. They work with local protocol stacks ensuring plug-and-play integration to existing applications.
