VME RAIDStor brings network attached storage (NAS) with RAID capability into
a single 6U slot. Suitable for a multitude of applications,
the module provides as much as a quarter terabyte of
solid-state flash per slot. Within a typical 19” chassis,
network access is available for up to 18 slots in
dual star networks; here, the VME RAIDStor is
a client/server model for highly reliable storage
access in today’s network centric applications.
RAIDStor Features:
- A much smaller footprint than conventional box level RAID storage
- Conduction cooled and convection cooled versions
- Dual PMC mounted solid state flash SATA drives for rugged environments
- Extended temperature range from –40° C to +85° C
- Configurable to RAID levels 0 and 1
- Automatic and transparent duplication of data
- Automatic data re-sync with no impact to the top level application
- Instantaneous drive to drive fail over with no service interruption
- Ethernet port fail over in redundant networks
- Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports via P0; single front panel port
- Heartbeat support for seamless fail over
- Available in convection/air cooled and conduction cooled versions
CC VME RAIDStor represents leading edge technology in highly available (HA) systems designed for maximum
data security, preservation and integrity. This NAS device is a leap in technology over conventional box
level RAID solutions. CC VME RAIDStor eliminates difficult file synchronization issues required when implementing
HA systems.
